...a student.
I'm a sophomore at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and my major is Genetics and Cell Development. I want to be a doctor someday. Maybe pediatrics, maybe oncology, maybe internal medicine, maybe family medicine, maybe.. anything. I also really like neuroscience lately.. and psychology.. and literature (mostly poetry).. and philosophy..

I've been pledging to run a marathon every year for the past five or so. Maybe this will be my year! Anyways, I love to run.
...vegan.
I'd like to be better at this. Right now I pretty much eat vegan 99.9% of the time, but veganism is positively a lifestyle. And I'm not quite there. Apparently most red wine is not vegan due to the filtration through animal carcasses. Gross!
...a granola cruncher.
I am pro-life, anti-death penalty, pro-gay rights, pro-healthcare reform, anti-war, pro-environment, anti-animal testing for cosmetic reasons, pro-euthanasia, pro-separation of church and state...
...an artist.
Okay, not really. I like to paint and draw and write, but all of my products are very pitiful and really just for me. But I am very opinionated about art (fine art, music, fashion, movies, ..)
...a gardener.
I'm not fantastic at this, but I try. I have two Dracaena fragrans named Byron and Luella, an orchid named Sally, a fern named Esther Greenwood, and a Cyclamen named Eleanor of Aquitaine.
...depressing.
Not that I'm depressed, but don't expect to be inspired by my blog. I am rather obsessed with depressing things. And I talk about it a lot.
